Mitchell Gaskins, 32, considers himself lucky for landing a spot in a Northeast Philadelphia group home with two roommates after his grandmother died. He has a part-time job taking license photos for PennDot.

On Tuesday, February 7, SPIN's President and CEO, Kathy Brown McHale, along with self advocates, Mitchell Gaskins, Barbara Romanisky, Robert Rosenberg and parent and board trustee, Joanne Leonard had the opportunity to participate in a discussion with Philadelphia Inquirer reporter, Monica Yant Kinney at Vision for Equality. The focus of the interview centered around the 6% cut that ODP programs are currently experiencing across the Commonwealth for this fiscal year and the fear of even more cuts to come.
