We are a non profit human service organization dedicated to providing quality services and a life of possibilities for children and adults with and without disabilities and their families in the community.

Our values, culture and mission are rooted in the belief that all people seek opportunities to live life to the fullest.

SPIN Among the Region’s Top Workplaces

 How does SPIN deliver on its promise of a life of possibilities for over 3,500 children, adults and families each year? How do we assure families that we can be entrusted to provide the highest quality, people first services and supports to their loved ones? It is always thanks to the quality of the person providing the services and support – it is always thanks to our employees. It takes 1,100 people to do what we do at SPIN and each one of us is as essential as the next.

 Our intention is to be one team, “all in”, delivering our great mission in a highly professional manner through individual and team performance excellence. One indicator that we are on our way is that our employees, through independent surveys, have voted us into the philly.com Top Workplaces for five consecutive years from 2010 through 2014! This is an accomplishment we are very proud of and understand we need to earn each and every day based on how we demonstrate that we respect and value our staff.

 SPIN has a diverse workforce with many talents and abilities working in a variety of settings, schedules and locations. People first work is by its nature, highly individualized, challenging and intrinsically rewarding. To assure that each employee feels connected to and valued by our organization, this year our playbook (strategic plan) is all about achieving an organizational climate that is positive and healthy for employees. We believe that this will result in highly engaged people who bring and do their best for those that come to SPIN for our high quality services.

 We are all looking forward to a year of even better results in this very important area.
